So my recent introduction to Guitar Hero has taken it's toll on me. I used to be heavily into the Disturbed's and Slipknot's of our generation only to take a severe detour and become obsessed with Synth-pop to Dutch House to Trashy Electro. And finally I'm beginning to make the full circle again. Only not quite. Bob Rifo's Anarchism and the thrash electro I've been listening to has introduced me to the 80's rock n' roll lifestyle. Not that I'd willingly take it up as this quote from Vince Neil (Motley Crue) reiterates:
So much so I've ordered their autobiography 'The Dirt.' But I've really taken a liking to their philosophies. Not so much the drugs and the alcoholism, to an extent the women. But their 'fuck rules and common courtesies lets do our own thing make money and have a fucking good time' attitude that got them everything they ever wanted. Albeit it tore their marriages/families/lives/bodies apart. That still sounds like a fun time, maybe with a bit more composure I could pull it off and survive.
*My Raining Blood by Slayer link won't work, but I suggest you search it in youtube or hypem.com because it's like sex.
